Imagine the pefect buffalo sauce, then remove all the heat.  That's what you get with the Buffalo Bleu Chesse Dip from Robert Rothschild farm. Throw in some heat and I'm in heaven!

Off the spoon you get exactly what the label says, buffalo and bleu cheese. You get the great taste of a buffalo sauce without the overpowering taste of vinegar present in so many sauces.  The down side is there's almost zero heat, they've captured the essence of buffalo wings without scorching people out.

As you can see from the picture on the left, this stuff is thick.  There's chunks of bleu cheese floating through the suspension of buffalo sauce giving the whole thing formidable appearance. It'll coat pretty much any surface with a thick layer of buffalo and bleu cheese goodness.

On the chicken tender it holds up to ANY buffalo sauce I've ever eaten.  It tastes better that 90% of the ones I've tried in wing joints.  The only drawback was the lack of heat.

This is another of those sauces that are good for folks who's idea of blazing hot is Tabasco.  Heck, I'd be inclined to just write them off but they did a fantastic job of capturing what it means to be buffalo.  In terms of flavor this ranks right up there with the best buffalo sauces I've ever had.  I just wish there was some more heat to the mix.
