Cooking with CaJohn
CaJohns.jpg

CaJohns Fiery Food is a Columbus, OH based manufacturer of salsa, hot sauces, spice blends and the like. If you're like me, you're lucky enough to live close enough to visit their store in the North Market and get his wonderful recipe handouts. If not, they're all right here for your perusal.

The versatility of the CaJohns salsas is limited only by your imagination. Use it wherever you would add tomatoes. It adds flavor and cuts the prep time. In just minutes you be enjoying your favorite tomato based dishes with the added flavor CaJohns salsa provides.

Their gourmet spice blends can expand your menu when used with many of the recipes you use now.

Though a significant portion of Indian food is vegetarian, many traditional Indian dishes also include chicken, goat, lamb, fish, and other meats. Beef is not eaten by Hindus, while pork is not consumed by Muslims.
  • Cajun and Creole  ( 4 items )

Cajun cuisine originates from the French-speaking Acadian or "Cajun" immigrants deported by the British from Acadia in Canada to the Acadiana region of Louisiana, USA. It is what could be called a rustic cuisine — locally available ingredients predominate, and preparation is simple. An authentic Cajun meal is usually a three-pot affair, with one pot dedicated to the main dish, one dedicated to steamed rice, skillet cornbread, or some other grain dish, and the third containing whatever vegetable is plentiful or available.
